Nazarbayev University (NU) Student Government, the “Regional Anti-Doping Organization of Central Asia” (RADOCA), World Trove Globalartfund Alem announce The Art and Essay Competition dedicated to Play True Day 2022.
Title of the competition: “Playing true – promoting fairness and equality”.
The purpose of this event is to raise awareness among athletes, future professionals, and society about the protection of the spirit and the ethical principles of the sport.
Eligibility criteria: 1. Citizens of Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan;
- Under/Post-Graduate students or University Graduates.
Submission deadline is Sunday, 3rd of April, 2022.
Prizes. The winners will receive gifts with NU and RADOCA brand (Hoodie, backpack, t-shirt, etc.) and invitations for advanced training courses on anti-doping, professional guidance on sports medicine.
Essay Guidelines
Essay should be submitted in English or in one of the official language of RADOCA member countries: Dari, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Mongolian, Pashto, Russian, Tajik, Turkmen, Urdu, and Uzbek.
Number of words is 800 – 1000 words. Applications should be submitted in the format of Informative Essay, Persuasive Essay, True Story or Narrative Story.
Materials should be original, unpublished elsewhere.
Art Contest Guidelines
Artwork may be submitted in one of the following categories. You may only enter one category:
Photo of traditional artwork (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.);
Digital – must be saved at 300 dpi in jpeg format.
Entries should be submitted with the following specifications:
- High resolution JPEG or PNG file
- At least 1080 x 1920 pixels, 300 ppi;
- Maximum file size of 8MB for the output and 10MB for the raw file;
- Must be a static digital image.
