The Regional Anti-Doping Organization of Central Asia (RADOCA) is delighted to declare the successful culmination of the 2023 Virtual Doping Control Officer (DCO) Training Program. This specialized program was developed for the DCOs from our esteemed member countries, all of whom are well-qualified and previously trained as part of RADOCA’s robust re-accreditation process.
The curriculum was developed to ensure that the DCOs are provided with the latest updates on the sample collection process and are fully compliant with the International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI).
Key Outcomes of the 2023 DCO Training:
• Skill Enhancement: DCOs have thoroughly updated their knowledge base, particularly in the urine sample collection process, to align with the latest ISTI provisions.
• Global Standardization: The training is meticulously designed to adhere to ISTI, fostering international uniformity in doping sample collection.
• Strengthening National Efforts: The program has strategically empowered National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) to execute their Test Distribution Plans with greater efficiency.
RADOCA’s unwavering commitment to the ongoing education of anti-doping professionals and the promotion of clean sports remains stronger than ever. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all DCOs who have successfully completed this training program. Their readiness to uphold the principles of fair play significantly fortifies the integrity of sports across our region.
